An official for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams." Reports indicate that the move was made after an review of reports of questionable actions involving women. The company has not elaborated on the reasons for its decision, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters." An Illustrious Writing Journey Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies internationally in 55 languages. His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008. A number of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies. His bibliography includes over four dozen titles combined, including a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins last autumn.
