The surprise role-playing game by Sandfall Interactive won the prestigious Top Game award, along with honors for Best Storytelling and Top Visual Design. Enhancing the studio's triumph, its gifted performers also were honored with personal awards. Jennifer English received Best Lead Performer for her performance as Maelle, while Ben Starr won Supporting Performance Award for his work as Verso. Moreover, Sandfall Interactive the studio received Top Studio. In total, Clair Obscur and its creative team won seven awards throughout the event. Other standout winners featured Ghost of Yōtei, which won Outstanding Audio and Top Console Title, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, honored with Best Indie Game (Self-Published) and PC Game of the Year.
